Dear Rotarians:
Thanks for inviting me to eulogize my very good friend Lawrence Schoenhals. He was one of the finest men that I ever had the privilege to meet. Lawrence went to be with his Lord on Sunday, August 8th. He was truly an outstanding Christian gentleman. He was a member fo the Winona Lake Free Methodist Church. For many years he led the choir on the Free Methodist radio program.
Lawrence was an avid golfer and he, Don Frantz and myself could be found weekly at old Stonehenge. If the temperature was over 40 we could be found on the first tee . He was an eager golf ball hunter and seldom missed a corn field. In fact he never saw a corn field he did not like. Golf was more than exercise it was a time of rich fellowship for those three elderly men.
He was a loving husband and father. A friend to all he met. The world is a better place because Lawrence Schoenhals spent 98 years here. May it be said of all of us when it comes time for us to move on. Blessings on all of my fellow Rotarians and their families!
Service Above Self,
Bill Roberts

Warsaw lost a great businessman and Rotary will miss Keith A. Horn.
Keith passed away March 30, 2010 after struggling with complications from cancer while living in Florida.
He was a restaurant owner before working with Colonel Harlan Sanders in developing Kentucky Fried Chicken in the early 1960's. He also developed Jellystone Campgrounds south of North Webster.
Remember his wife, Virginia and family in your prayers.
