93rd Annual Rotary Toy Day

A tradition started in 1927 was observed by the Warsaw Rotary Club at their Friday meeting on December 4th.  The club brought gifts to support the Angel Tree program of The Salvation Army as they have done for 93 years.  Toy donations have also been collected in recent years at First Friday which was not held this year.  The club is encouraging toys and gifts to be taken to Walmart, Cricket Wireless or Latte Lounge in Warsaw and placed in the Salvation Army bins by December 15th.  As far as records show the Warsaw Rotary Club has gathered toys for The Salvation Army through the Great Depression, World War II and now the Coronavirus pandemic to brighten Christmas for a child.  For more information go to www.warsawrotary.com
